INFO: The Art Deco Parlor was inspired by a few different places including the SS Normandie, Eltham Palace and sets from the 2021 film, "Nightmare Alley".
The walls are done in the marquetry style featuring Wedgewood, Cherry and Laurel Burl. The marble details are hand carved, cast in resin, hand painted to resemble fine-scaled miniature marble and then buffed and polished like real stone. The center piece of this room is the hand panted mural over the fireplace which is a reproduction of a mural removed from 1933 theatre in Oakland, Ca.
The outer shell is veneered in Laurel Burl and stained a deep rich color. The front face of the piece is a hinged frame with glass front to keep the inner room dust free. Toggle switch on side of box turns the room on/off. Includes 12V plug.
